Share a song you listened to in 6th grade.

I think this was actually in the 7th grade.  I can't remember any songs from the 6th grade.

Show us your mother.

I don't have that many pictures of my mom here with me.  Most of them are at my dad's. These are some I have and are ones that I love.

Here is a strip of pictures that were taken circ 1958 when she was engaged to my dad. They got married December 27, 1958.  If she was still alive, this year would be their 50th anniversary. (she passed away in 2001)

 

 

And here is a picture of her and my dad in 1959 after they got married and she was pregnant with my eldest brother.

 

 

For some strange reason, I love the "arty"-ness of this picture that was taken of her napping....circa 1958-59.  I have always been drawn to the peacefulness of this picture.

 

And here is a picture of my mom and dad taken in the early to mid 1990's.  I am thinking it was about 5 years before her passing?  She always had the biggest smile.

 

Show us a photo of cherry blossoms in bloom.... Or, if you don't have cherry blossoms where you live, show us a photograph of any flower in bloom!

Show us a beverage you absolutely can't stand the taste of.

 

Nasty, nasty ka-kas! 

If I want to drink cough syrup, well, I would rather go drink cough syrup.

If I need a big rush of sugar and caffeine, I would rather go to Starbucks.

And If I am going to get heart palpitations, I would rather get them from sky-diving.

I don't get the allure of this beverage.  Sorry, if you like it but I think it's just nasty.

You can have anything you want....as long as it doesn't break man's laws or god's laws or involves changing the will of someone's feelings.

Just because it takes work, faith, creativity, and/or time......and doesn't get handed to you on a silver platter......does not mean getting what you want is not possible. And if you aren't willing to go out and do what it takes to get what you say you really want......then I guess you don't really want it that bad.

Stop bitching, moaning, and coveting.....and go get what you want out of life and start living the life you want to live.

 

 

Vox Hunt and Qotd....these constant assinine and lame-ass questions are getting really annoying.  Is someone really being paid to come up with this crap?  If so, I think its time to re-assess.

Goofing around on Boxing Day 2005: my sister and her husband.  I may get shot for posting this.....but its such a hilarious picture.

To have only one life anthem is tough.  Life changes and so will the anthem. 

When I was young and single, my friends all used to joke that this was my life anthem. :p

 

These days, I cannot decide between 3 songs for my current life anthem....so I will post all 3.   They all great and have a similiar thread.  Enjoy!!!
