Heh. I like! My favourite is the one about closed minds and closed mouths. Now how many times have I thought that to myself!
Did you know that ppl that have chosen a black or dark blog theme cannot read this post? If the text is changed to black, we can't read it. If it is allowed to be post as is, Vox will change it for us.

Tee hee. You should add: "It's better to remain silent and let them think your stupid then open your mouth and remove all doubt."

I like Vortex of Unspeakable Evil.

I know what you mean about the closed minds, closed mouths....I think that one A LOT !!!

I am not sure I am following you on the MB, nor am I sure of your tone (positive or negative) so I am just going to take this positively! :)

First of all, if you actually come over to my blog page and read this, you will be reading this on my background which is white. A person's personal blog page colour should only affect their own personal blog pages. When you visit someone else's blog page, in my experience, you read their blog on whatever their background choice is.

And secondly, I posted this "regularly" without altering font colour. I just type it in and voila. There was no changing anything on the font colour or even to the font at all.

So, in lieu of those 2 points, I am thoroughly confused by your comment! :)

It's better to remain silent and let them think your stupid then open your mouth and remove all doubt."

hahaha....LOVE it!! :)

...and yes the vortex of evil thing...yes....that one was for LostDwarf! haha! :)

Ok - let me clarify.

Most ppl read their neighborhood from their own pages, hence using thir own theme. I don't usually travel to a neighbors page to read what they have written, I use the neighborhood link.

It looked like you had copied and pasted the text in that post (at least some of it). When text is copied and pasted, it can occasionally retain formatting from the document which it was copied (black font color, for example). So when you paste that into a post, Vox sees that formatting (even if you don't) and applies it to the post. When you just type a post (no copy and pasting) Vox will format that post text internally so that it can be read by everyone no matter what theme they use (dark or light).

My comment was an FYI that your neighbors that have dark themes cannot read this post at all: it shows up a black text on a black background, which is unreadable. That may be on no concern to you, but I was just letting you know. Many Voxer's that use light theme do not realize that those of use that use a dark theme may not be able to share in everything that you want to share with use because we cannot see it (black text on a black background).

I get what you are saying but I have lots of friends with dark backgrounds and no one has ever complained before and they still read and still comment. And the complaint can go both ways. I personally have to squint reaaalllly hard to read blogs with dark backgrounds. And I have seen people complain a lot about reading on dark backgrounds.

You may be generalizing that everyone reads others blogs the same way as you. (unless you ran a poll? :) )

Personally, I don't travel from blog to blog either. From my vox home landing page (the one that comes up when you sign in), I scroll down to the "posts" part and hit the "neighbours" link under posts. That gives me a listing page of my neighbours posts. Its similiar to the neighbourhood link....however, on this list, when I click on an entry, it takes me to the post on the author's blog page so I read it in whatever colour and background the author has chosen. I have tried both ways (neighbourhood link and this way) and I like this one. I find people's blog colours and themes are like visiting them in their home....it just adds something and shakes up the visual scene of blog-reading to have different colours and backgrounds in my reading.

But....Its about personal preference as to what you choose to do and what kind of background you choose. With so many choices and preferences, its realistic that there will be some problems with reading people's blogs. However to expect everyone to please everyone all the time is simply unrealistic.

And once again, I did not alter anything on my post....its just typed into Vox. :)

i agree with lightchaser, closed minds and closed mouths 'is all good'

I have a button and mug that have the saying "Well-behaved Women Make History"... Here's another one we need to add: "You've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a shit" - ha!

I am laughed so loud I startled my poor sleeping kitten!

These are sooooooooo funny!!
In case anyone wonders (as if they would!!) I go to each individual blog and read. I look at the banner, the layout, etc and the changes that people make I just figure it's designed to be that person's "Place" and it's something they're proud of and would like me to see. So I look. It's fun!

Love them!!! I want several on a t-shirt.

"Behind Every Great Man, Is an Even Better Woman" always a crowd pleaser... *chuckles*

And a variation on one of those... "I'd Like to see things from your Point of View, But i can't seem to get my Head that far up my Own @$$" Fun for arguements!

But on the whole, I like the quotes ^_^.

These are great! It reminded me that I had this.

Oh, I’m caught in a vortex of unspeakable evil. And you?

LOVE this one! Though maybe I'd change it to:

I'm a vortex of unspeakable evil.

This was great!! You brought a warm fuzzy happy feeling to my soul, the deep dark pit that it is.

I especially like the closed mind/closed mouth one.
